Saturday’s Crochet Hoard – Wraps

Saturday's Crochet Hoard wk 2 Wraps

Week 2 of Saturday’s Crochet Hoard brings you Wraps. Wraps opposed to shawls are rectangular and in my opinion, bring more warmth.

This week I am sharing 18 beautiful free wraps. Most of these wraps are open and lacy. I have made a bunch of wraps and have them stored in my closet.  I love wearing them on a chilly evening.  Maybe in the summer with jeans and a tank for some added coverage.  Do you wear wraps?  Do you like them lacey or solid?

I imagine this wrap in a light sage green or coral. The color possibilities are endless really. Black is great for an evening wrap against a white dress.

Crochet - Soloman's Knot Whisper Wrap

My first time ever using this stitch was during a Battle of the Stitches. It was a battle against other designers using the same stitch and it followed a theme.  Well, guess what…I WON the battle.

Crochet Granny Ripple Wrap

This looks like a pretty steady pattern you could make while watching the television.  I love working on patterns that are easy on the repeats.

This is a really open wrap.  Very lightweight I am sure. Would be nice for a summer wedding, or a picnic if you wanted just a touch of something to add.

Look at this little beauty. The designer has said you can wear this as a beach cover-up or a scarf.  I can picture both!

Crochet Blueberry Hill

The Lover’s Knot or Soloman’s Knot is an awesome stitch.  Most importantly it does create a lacy yet delicate look.

Great for those summer nights
