Mixed Berries Cowl
  Mixed Berries Crochet Cowl can be made with one button, or several for different looks. I used Bernat Mosaics Ninja Yarn for this project, and it worked up awesome!  I wish I could wear could wear cowls.
The mixed berries crochet cowl measure 30 inches by 6 inches.

Materials:
1 Skein of Bernat Mosaics Pink Poodle
H hook
1 – 2 inch button or use as many as you would like
Darning needle
Stitches:
ch- chain
st(s)-stitch(es)
sl st-slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
tr- treble crochet
Skill Level –  Easy
Gauge is not important
Cowl Measures 30 inches by 6 inches

Ch 13 (hdc counts as a st)
Row 1: Sc in the first st and each st across. Turn (12 sc)
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in the first st and in each st across. Turn (12 hdc)
Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in the next 3 sts, fptr around the next 4 hdc, hdc in the last 4
sts. Turn (8 hdc, 4 fptr)
Row 4: Ch 2, hdc in the next 3 sts, bptr around the next 4 hdc, hdc in the last 4
sts. Turn (8 hdc, 4 bptr)
Row 5: Ch 2, hdc in next 3 sts, skip the next 2 sts, fptr around the post of 3 &
4, fptc around the 2 skipped stitches (1st and 2nd st). (in that order every time3,
4, 1, 2), hdc in remaining 4 sts. Turn ( 8hdc, 4 fptr)
Rows 6-67: Repeat rows 4 and 5
Row 68: Ch 1, sc in the same st and each st across. (12 sc)
Here you will start working in the round, going around the band you just made.
Rnd 1: ch 1, 3 sc in same st as ch 1, sc in the next st, *2 sc in the next st, sc in
the next st, rep from * around with 3 sc at the end of each row to form a corner.
(104 sc)
Rnd 2: ch 3, sk next 2 sts, *sc in the next st, ch 3, sk the next st, rep from *
around. Adding 3 dc to each corner. Sl st to first ch 3.
Rnd 3: ch 3, *sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 3, rep from * around. Adding 3 dc to each
corner. Sl st to first ch 3.
Rnd 4: ch 1, sc in the next ch 3 sp, 3 dc in the next ch 3 sp. Rep from * around. Add 3 dc to each corner. Sl st to ch 1 sp.
Rnd 5: ch 1, sc in first sc, sk next dc, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc)in the next dc, sc in the
next sc, rep from * around. Finish off.
Add your button or buttons to the edge of the cowl where you find comfort wearing
it. Using the bigger gap in the stitches for buttonholes.
