Hi everyone and welcome back. For the 3rd part of this series, the ACWC Free Pattern is this Scoodie. I ran a poll on my group page and this is what ya wanted (some of you anyway) a scoodie.
I love this series and I still will make a poncho and shawl for the rest of you that wanted that. I really wish that the poll had more participants because I want to make everyone happy and their voice heard.
This ACWC Scoodie is also going to be added to 2017 Annual Holiday Blog Hop.
I am starting a collection for you all to enjoy. It will be called Amy Cherisse Winter Collection (ACWC) for short and the first part is this hat. Since this my first collection I am using my oldest daughters name.
I made this hat using the dc, FPtr and BPtr stitches making this an intermediate pattern because of the post stitches. This combination seems to create the texture that I love.
Please make sure to visit my group and look at the poll I am taking. I want to involve you all as much as I can in this Collection.
I imagine there are a lot of patterns out there made with this Bernat Pop Yarn and I can understand why. The colors do POP and are nice and cheery. I love how they strip in wide rows when the patterns are written this way. The hat is nice and soft. This hat is perfect for a child who wears a size 19-20 size head and a height of 7.5-8 inches.
Is anyone out in the crochet world getting presents ready for Christmas? I have this brand new pattern made using bulky yarn and it’s a messy bun hat. I love teal and tassels, hence the name. It’s a fun hat that works up super quick, you could make so many for Christmas in so many colors! Let me know what you make out of this, as I would love to see the color combinations. Share it with The Country Willow!
It also helps here with the one girl we have. This Climb Up Hat is a free crochet pattern. This hat has a lot of texture and works up very quickly. I used FPdc and shells to design this hat and it worked out extremely well.
This hat will fit size 20-22 inch head. and uses bulky yarn.
I don’t know of anyone that hasn’t really seen this style of hat….The Messy Bun Hat (MBH 101)It’s a craze and I don’t know why. The MBH has been around for ages. I made one in 2011 called the Swizzler’s Hat/Ponytail Hat/ Cowl all in one pattern.
I decided I might as well join the 100’s of seasoned designers and amateur designers and do one of my own! Make these Messy Bun Hats for those joggers in your life, maybe for the one who wears their hair up a lot in the winter, and maybe even the winter sports enthusiasts.
