To begin, gather your supplies and let's get hookin'!  You will need:  Small amount of #4 worsted weight yarn.  I used Red Heart Supersaver.
I/9/5.5 mm crochet hook Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Stitches used to make this block are
Single Crochet (sc)
Berry Stitch (Bst) ~ to make Bst:  Insert hook into specified sc, draw up a loop, leaving loop on hook, ch 3 more stitches, draw yarn through both loops on hook, Berry Stitch (Bst) made.

I used two different colors to make my blocks to show the stitch pattern a little better, if you use two colors there is no need to cut your yarn for every color change.  Just carry your yarn up the side of the block.  This will be covered up when you do your joining.
