This is Swaddle Me Baby...I made this for use with a stroller or infant seat.  This is not meant to be used in a car seat.  The baby slides into the legs and then wraps around your baby like a blanket.  Great for all 4 season's when your baby needs a little extra warmth!
Materials: I used “I Love This Yarn”
Size H hook
Large needle for weaving in ends
Stitches:
CH – Chain
 SC -single crochet
 DC -double crochet
ST -stitch
SL ST -slip stitch
 SP -space
X stitch,
 sc decrease

I've been looking for a swaddle pattern for ages, thank you so much for this. I will have a sleeping grandson and a happy daughter :-)

Thanks so much for sharing. This is VERY UNIQUE! I think I will leave the toes off, substitute ribbing around and include a pair of booties or matching socks, so baby can use it longer. Very nice!

What size is it? I don't have babies and I wish to make this as a baby shower gift.

OMGoodness, I had no idea that this was left off and I do not have the written part anymore. I can tell you that it is single crochet alternated with the x st. It is crocheted as a square then folded and sewn together at the top to make the hood. I will have to make this again and then write what the hooded pattern is, but it will be a while before I can get this done. I hope this helps you! Again, I am so sorry!!
