Stand Alone....How can I grow?

So I am sitting here thinking just how can I become part of the crochet crowd? How do I get my name out there?  How do I generate more sales?  Sometimes I feel like throwing the towel in and then I look at these items I design and think they are quite unique. I have several shops and this website. Then I think, well maybe I have to many. Can you ever have to many? I have decided to keep plugging along until I can't plug anymore. I love to crochet and sew.  I love to create.
So how am I going to do this?
Blog...They say to start a blog.  With a blog I can generate traffic and promote my work, look for inspiration, and share my creative process. I want to get more into blog swaps and link up parties.

Tweet....tweeting can give my customers a chance to see what is new.  Tweeting has become a popular way to inform customers of the specials and coupons that I have to offer.

Facebook...Have a fan page.  With a fan page, potential customers can follow me and increase my chances of product awareness.  Facebook isn't very business friendly so I like many outside sources as well.

Pinterest....Pinterest is another way to show my product.  With people repinning what I have to offer gets me out there and visible. Boards, boards and more boards...

Etsy....I have an Etsy page.  I just started creating treasuries.   Etsy is a great place to look for inspiration and connect with people.  By joining a team, I can join craft specific. I need to look into this more. https://www.etsy.com/shop/SimplyStitchedSheri_

Next I joined a group called Mad Mad Makers.  this is a group of various crafty people who are dedicated to creating a successful handmade business.  In this group we are taught to self promote as well as being promoted.  We have shops for photography, branding, shop critiques, and so much more.    We also have our very own marketplace where we can sell our items.  There is a fee associated with this group but it is well worth the money. The promoting and linking is just amazing.  So if you are looking to join a special group this is the place.

So for now I will end this.  Please feel free to share any information you can.  I am looking for any kind of advice I can get.  Thank you to all that are reading. Have a great day and continue to be crafty!!  :-)
