Pretty Posies Free Crochet Hat Pattern - Holiday Stashdown 2016

Picture
I am so excited to be part of the Holiday Stashdown 2016.  My contribution is this Pretty Posies Hat.  The hat works up from the bottom and can be made in many different colors.   I think stripes and the row of posies would be cute in one color. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it.

On Rnd 3, Where does the 3 Double crochet cluster go? Into the chain? or into the next stitch?

The 3 dccluster goes into the next three stitches from the previous row. See the notes about special stitches at the top of the pattern. I wasn't sure about the 2dc cluster, but both of the dcs go into the first of the chains just completed ...the one furthest from the hook.

If I understand right, there are two skipped stitches before each 2DC cluster. Is that right?
