Hugs and Kisses Set A free crochet pattern
Hello and welcome back. The greatest thing for me in life is being a Gamma!!I designed The Hug and Kisses Set for my granddaughter Everly!! I designed this with I Love This Cotton because of the Summer months. The Hugs and Kisses Set is designed to fit 0-3 months.

Materials:
1 skein of I Love This Cotton in Pewter
1 skein of I Love This Cotton in Ivory
½”button
Scissors
H Hook 5.0mm
Stitch markers 4

Stitches:
CA – Pewter
CB - Ivory
ch (chs) – chain(s)
sc - single crochet
tr – treble
sl st - slip stitch
st(sts)=stitch (stitches)
v-st –  (dc ,ch 1, dc) in desired st
Rnd - round
Rep – repeat
Flo – front loop only

This hat is written in American Terminology

Gauge:  2inch by 2inch = 9 stitches and 11 rows in single crochet

Measurements:
Newborn to 3 months

​Top:
Chest - measures - 17 inches   
Length of top – 9.5 inches
Bottoms:
19 inch waist
Rise – 6 inches
 
​Bodice:
Row 1: with color A, ch 48, dc in 4th ch from the hook (counts as dc & ch 1), dc same ch (v-st made), ch 1, sk 2 chs, * 3 dc in the next chs, ch 1, sk 2 chs, v-st in the next ch,* rep from * to * across, dc in last ch, ch 6, sl st to top ch, (creates button hole), sl st down and ch 4, turn.
Row 2: sk first 2 sts, *3 dc in v-st, ch 1, v-st in middle of 3 dc, ch 1*, rep from * to * across sl st in turning ch. ch 2, turn.
Row 3: dc in the next st and each st across, dc in top of turning ch, turn.

Row 4: ch 3(counts as dc), dc in the next 7 sts, ch 4, sk 20 sts, dc in the next 15 sts,
Ch 4, sk next 20 sts, dc in remaining sts, sl st to beginning dc, you are now working in the round

Rnd 3: ch 1, sc in same st, BLO sc in each st around.  Fasten off and weave in ends
