Tulle Skirt:

For the tulle, I measured my pieces at 20 inches for 12 months. For other sizes measure from bodice to desired length and times that by 2 then add 2 inches for the knot.
For a real full skirt, use 2 pieces of tulle per ch 2 sp.  For my skirt I used 1 piece per space.

We are going to use the Lark Foot Knot to add the tulle to the bodice in the ch 2 spaces we made at the end.  Hold the bodice so that the hook slides into the ch 2 sp from the bottom of the bodice. Grab the tulle and pull thru the ch 2 sp about an inch or so, take the ends of the tulle and pull through the hole made in the tulle on the other side, pull tightly and create the knot. Repeat using the tulle in every ch 2 sp around.
Straps:

Cut ribbon or crochet 2 straps to:

 12 months- 7.5 inches

Size 2- 8 inches

Size 3- 8.5 inches

Size 4- 9 inches

To place straps measure IN from edge approx.

12 months- 1.5 inches

Size 2- 2 inches

Size 3- 2.5 inches

Size 4- 3 inches

Using thread, stitch the strap to the inside of the bodice on the front and back.

Add ribbon if desired around the waist and Viola’ done.

Thank you so much for the pattern and the pictures. I've been wanting to make one or two of these dresses, but this is the first pattern that I have seen that I think I can manage. I will come back and post pictures when I finish making them.

I love this pattern. I'm still learning to crochet and found this pattern easy to follow. I made one for my daughter and she just loves it
