Free Crochet Pattern - Rouge Infinity Scarf

Free Crochet Pattern - Rouge Infinity Scarf Country Willow Designs
Free Crochet Pattern - Rouge Infinity Scarf. This will be my last  free crochet pattern for the month of February.  I will be back in later months.  The Rouge Infinity Scarf is probably my favorite yet.  I love the color and the design.  I have this thing for mirrored products, I guess it kind of goes towards my OCD in those matters.

How many stitches should I have when doing the sc and dc rows? (Rows 6-14)
Thank you for the beautiful pattern!

Yes! I have the same question. My scarf was getting exponentially wider after the sc and dc rows. I have more than the 154 stitches of the beginning chain. FYI I am an experienced crocheter ;)

I think it should be 150 stitches...since you start with that 4th chain at the beginning, making it 150, not 154. Make sense?

I have made this scarf four times now and my stitch count always ends up being 152 with everything perfectly lining up. Not sure if that is what it's *supposed* to be, but it worked for me. 😉

i have a question about the first turn around. So which stitch exactly am i doing the "tr between first 2 tr"? and why is it one tr on the start side, but 3 on the end side?

Ch 4, turn, tr between first 2 tr, *5 tr between next 2 tr group, tr between the 2nd and 3rd st, and tr between the 3rd and 4th st of the same group, rep from * to the last 4 sts, 3 tr between last tr and turning ch.

It says the last 4 sts, and there are 3 tr at the end. You must have read it wrong.

I love this pattern. However, be sure to buy extra yarn. I used the Bernat satin as required and ended up using 2 3.5 oz skeins and a small amount of a third. That was after making it 3 times and trying to crochet tighter. It also ends up closers to 12" wide, not 9". The first 2 times I made it I actually used a different yarn but it was very siimilar in weight. THe second time I switched to a size I hook and used just a little ove 2 skeins. The third time I make it using the recommended yarn and hook and still used slightly more than 2 skeins. I would use a smaller hook the next time or do 3 rows of the fan stitch and do one less row of the single crochette.

I was wondering how many skeins I'd need for this infinity scarf?

I have had some say 2 and others say a little bit of a 3rd one. Buy 3 just in case. :-)

Hi, could somebody please help me. I'm struggling with the 2nd row. I don't understand the 5 treble into next 2 groups of treble.

You do 5 tr between the 2 tr that were done consecutively in row 1 which is referred to as a 'group'.

You do the 5 in the same chain, skip 2 chains then do a triple, and another triple in the next chain skip 2 chains and start all over.... its in between those 2 single triples that you put the 5 triples in in row 2-6.
