Hi everybody!! So glad I am back to offer you another free crochet pattern for you all. This Bobbin Along Scarf will be a great addition to your Winter accessories. The scarf can be worn many different ways of your choosing. I received this yarn from Red Heart. It's Baby Hugs Light. I love how soft it is and it is a great yarn to work with. Looking at the scarf I am sure you all know where the name came from. I really would like to make some slippers with this pattern. What do you think? Maybe some slipper boots? Wouldn't that keep your toes nice and toasty. I used double treble stitches and the Bobble stitch for this. I love the way the stitches compliment each other. I would love to hear from you, maybe offer up some suggestions, maybe just to say HI!! :-) Please Favorite and Que on Ravelry :-) FREE CROCHET PATTERN - BOBBIN ALONG SCARFMaterials: Red Heart Baby Hugs Light – 446 yards- Color Shell I Hook 5.50mm Tapestry Needle Scissors Pattern is written in US terms Stitches: ch(s) – chain/chains dc- double crochet sc – single crochet dtr-double treble sp(s) space/spaces st(es) stitch/stitches YO – yarn over Special Stitches: BB-Bobble Stitch YO, insert hook into specified stitch and draw up a loop the size of a dc, YO, draw through 2 loops; ( YO, insert hook in same st and draw up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops) 4 times; YO and draw through all 6 loops on hook, ch 1, BB made Size of scarf measures; 6.5 inches wide by 84 inches long Ch 233 All ch’s at beginning count as st unless otherwise noted Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across. turn (232 sc) Row 2: Ch 1, sc in the first st and in each st across. turn (232 sc) Row 3: Ch 4, dtr in the next st and in each st across. turn (232 dtr) Row 4: Ch 3, dc in the next st and in each st across. turn (232 dc) Row 5: Ch 1, sc in 1st 2 sts, *BB innext st, sc in each of next 3 sts; rep from * to last 3 sts, BB in next st, sc in last 2 sts; turn Row 6: Ch 3, dc in each st across skip turning ch, turn (232 dc) Row 7: Ch 1, sc in each of the 1st 4 sts, *BB in next st, sc in next 3 sts; rep from * across ending with sc in top of turning ch, turn. I just made the bobbin along scarf with Caron cakes Lilac mist. I didn't add fringe and made it wider. I love how it turned out.
