Hello Friends, I have decided that Tuesday’s Crochet Tutorials, we are going to have some fun with some new stitches from many designers and their tutorials.
Isn’t it exciting when we learn something new? That’s how the designers feel when they can teach someone a new stitch or a new sewing technique.
There are so many different stitches out there and many designers teach differently. Some right-handed, some left-handed and some do both. Either way, you will just have to decide your learning style. Do you like videos? Maybe just pictorial? I myself just like the written word.
Greetings Friends. I want to introduce you to Monday’s Crochet Smorgasbord where you will find many new released patterns. There will be no rhyme or reason to it, just a bunch of great free patterns.
With week 1, I am bringing a fresh release of new patterns from some pretty amazing crochet designers and bloggers. I am sure there will be something for everyone. Each week I will share from purses to totes, afghans to baby blankets, socks to sandals, etc. I hope to find many and I really hope to please you all.
Let me know how I am doing every once in a while by leaving a comment.
Amy Cherisse Winter Collection Crochet Scarf (ACWC Scarf) free crochet pattern, here is the second offering. I am having fun and I want to thank everyone who participated in my group as to what you want next. The 3 items I will be making are a shawl, poncho and scoodie. I have started the shawl for you all. I am hoping to have it done in the next week.
I am loving this collection because of the stitches, and just how universal they can be. This stitch can be used for anything and it would be beautiful!
Amy Cherisse Winter Collection – Crochet Slightly Slouch Hat (AC Winter Collection) for short and the first part is this hat. Since this my first collection I am using my oldest daughters name. This crochet hat pattern will be followed by several more crochet items.
I made this Crochet Slightly Slouch Hat using the dc, FPtr and BPtr stitches making this an intermediate pattern because of the post stitches. This combination seems to create the texture that I love.
Please make sure to visit my group and look at the poll I am taking. I want to involve you all as much as I can in this Crochet Collection.
I imagine there are a lot of patterns out there made with this Bernat Pop Yarn and I can understand why. The colors do POP and are nice and cheery. I love how they strip in wide rows when the patterns are written this way. The hat is nice and soft. This hat is perfect for a child who wears a size 19-20 size head and a height of 7.5-8 inches.
