So I went yarn shopping last week and came across this Heather Yarn from Premier Yarns Deborah Norville Collection. I have to tell you all, it is so very soft and doesn't split like some softer yarns do. I am impressed and so I decided to make the Gail Marie's Terracotta Scarf. I love this scarf so much. It's very easy with quite simple repeats for you all. Best of all it is a free crochet pattern!
Hello everyone!! It's been a while since I have posted but I was sick again!! Bronchitis, stomach bugs....yuck! I hope all is well with everyone.
So, this pattern I designed for Battle of the Stitches Competition using this Starburst Stitch. The stitch is absolutely beautiful and what transpired was the Arianna Project /Tote Bag. I didn't win, but I do love the final project. Please stop in and thank Kate Wagstaff @ Crafting Friends Designs for the awesome times we have and all the great patterns that come from this competition.
I don't know of anyone that hasn't really seen this style of hat....The Messy Bun Hat (MBH 101)It's a craze and I don't know why. The MBH has been around for ages. I made one in 2011 called the Swizzler's Hat/Ponytail Hat/ Cowl all in one pattern. I decided I might as well join the 100's of seasoned designers and amature designers and do one of my own!
Here is a new hat for you all. It's the Winter Lovin' Hat, a free crochet pattern. I have gotten into a rut with this color yarn and I hope that I am not overusing this color. Anyways, the hat measures 21 inches and has an option of a pom pom. I think this hat would awesome is green and wheat too!
I feel like I haven't produced enough last week because of a craft fair I went to. Now I am back with this new infinity scarf The Rollin Scallop Roll pattern just for you all. I love making scarves, especially infinity scarves. This scarf rolls with scallops and keeps rollin, hense the name. I think everyone will enjoy making this as much as I did.
Hi everybody!! So glad I am back to offer you another free crochet pattern for you all. This Bobbin Along Scarf will be a great addition to your Winter accessories. The scarf can be worn many different ways of your choosing. I received this yarn from Red Heart. It's Baby Hugs Light. I love how soft it is and it is a great yarn to work with.
Looking at the scarf I am sure you all know where the name came from. I really would like to make some slippers with this pattern. What do you think? Maybe some slipper boots? Wouldn't that keep your toes nice and toasty. I used double treble stitches and the Bobble stitch for this. I love the way the stitches compliment each other. I would love to hear from you, maybe offer up some suggestions, maybe just to say HI!! :-)
How exciting to be joining in on this Wonder Crochet Blanket CAL. It is going to be exciting to see all of the blankets that will be made using so many different stitches. It definitely be a unique piece.

Fall is just around the corner, which means the temperatures are soon going to drop again. And that means it's time for fall accessories such as fingerless gloves to keep you nice and cozy. The great thing about fingerless gloves is that they can be crocheted up rather quickly and also make for great gifts for everyone.
A lot of you probably knew this was a fish last week. I named him Wally. He is for my sister and she loves him and he will be going to his new home on her boat. OK, lets get to the rest of the pattern.
Here we are....Part 2 of the Designers Potpourri CAL. Can you guess what this is? I know some people will have no problems. I had to make this for my sister and she has begged me for 3 years now to make it. I thought it would be perfect to do this as a CAL. So follow me for Part 2 please!
Hi everyone, long time. First of all, I need to say sorry to everyone because of my aloofness. I have been sick fighting high sugar, which we all know is scary. While doing this, I developed Vertigo. Anyone that has had this knows it isn't fun.
Onto the fun part, I am doing a 3 part Mystery CAL. By the second part you will be able to guess what I am doing. Maybe the first part, who knows. I am sure it will be fun though.
