Deborah says that she started arts and crafts very young.
“I can remember as a young child stringing beads and buttons from my Mother’s collection. Around the age of 7 when I crocheted a blanket for my baby doll.
I then moved on to macramé. Made many necklaces, bracelets and a few swings and hammocks, then I tried embroidery. Preteen years I started beading on a loom. Life got in the way of my beading and then in my late 20’s I did a few more loom pieces.
I started cross stitching in my early 20’s and I still enjoy that today, but a few years ago a cross stitch friend decided I needed to learn net beading. I haven’t looked back.
Many of my patterns are great for beginners to learn on, but I also have a few more complicated pieces. Now I love all beadweaving. All my patterns are full instructions with pictures and diagrams. If you ever have a problem or question, please email me, email is on every pattern. “Like” my facebook page for all specials and giveaways.”
When asked about what Debra finds most challenging about owning her own business, Debra says “I would love to spend more time, creating new designs. Instead of working on promoting, advertising, cleaning the house, laundry and working full time out side of the home too. Just not enough fun hours in a day.”
Some of Debra’s favorite things are lots of color. She said usually the deeper the color is the more she likes it. Debra also likes to eat her desserts first (also one of my favorites). Debra also said that she once had birthday cake for breakfast, because that was the only time, the family would all be together for that day.
She loves to dance, skip and ride my bike (that is cycle), it “lifts the heart and spirit.”
