My ONE WORD for 2014 is Patience!
What I really WANT in 2014, is for my family to be happy. To make sure everyone knows their worth and that everything they do is appreciated. I have a tendency to take things for granted. I always say Thank You, but is that really enough?
What I NEED in 2014, is to work on developing PATIENCE, to stop worrying about the little irritants and pains that cause this. I think this might be the most important thing for me to do. I worry about everything and I do mean everything. So what if the kids rooms are a mess. They have to live in it right? I have OCD when it comes to things being clean and in their place. I don’t like that I am like this. I was so used to living alone, then I met Dennis (who has changed my world) and his 4 children. Tidiness is something that just can’t happen, messes will happen. I have to let this go!!!!
What I will SHARE in 2014, is a lot simpler. I will share more kindness and smiles. I will share my knowledge of Crochet. I want to share more free patterns and to do some tutorials.
What I will do to SUCCEED in 2014, write more patterns, practice more knitting, pay more attention to blogging. I will succeed at this!
With all of this, we have decided to move. We will be moving to North Carolina. I am praying that the move to a warmer climate might help with the Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.
What are some of your resolutions for the New Year? I want to end this post with an inspirational quote.
“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something. So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make new mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life. Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, do it. Make your mistakes, next year and forever.”Neil Gaiman (born 1960);
